This man is a quack! Go to him at your own risk. He botched the procedure and our daughter was in agony for months afterwards. He had no idea what he was doing and he should be banned from the field of medicine. We are seeking legal advice. Stay away from this man if you don't want to suffer for months later.

I have been suffering with migraines everyday for 20 months now. I have been suffering with migraines everyday for 20 months now. Lately the pain had gotten a bit less and tolerable, but I thought I’d try homeopathy as a last resort to try and be totally pain free.

After my first consultation with Dr Wicomb she gave 3 kinds of medication, 2 of which she gave me in the consultation, expecting to see an immediate difference. There was no relief. She told me to contact her in 2 days with an up date. I did so, saying the pain wasn’t any less than when we last saw her. She said I should just carry on. She also said that I should contact her if any strange symptoms presented with the medication. Well, after a week of escalating pain to the point where it’s now worse than it’s ever been (and I’ve been hospitalised twice with this), I thought I should contact her. (I waited to contact her on a Monday, so as not to disturb her weekend.)

I called her, scared and wondering what I should do and if the pain would go away by simply stopping the medication. She gave some ambiguous information that it was either another “layer” presenting itself (though not bothering to explain what exactly a “layer” presentation was) or my body was detoxing, and that in one case the pain would maybe stop in 5 days and in the other it wouldn’t, and before I could ask her to clarify—and I was still speaking—she said “ok, thank you, bye,” and hung up the phone.

As a scared patient, who is unsure how this medicine works and had put my hope and money towards her care, I was utterly distraught and mortified. I’ve had my pain worsen from (chemical) medication before, but nothing like this. I was finally able to work again with careful diet and fixing absolutely everything in my lifestyle and now this and I’m bedridden again and unable to work.

It was her medical duty to let me know that there was a danger that my symptoms would worsen like this.

I have never experienced such negligence, indifference, and blatant rudeness.
